Hailing from the vibrant Métis Nation heart in Manitoba, Canada, specifically East Selkirk along the Red River, I am thrilled to be a female indigenous entrepreneur with a unique heritage as a direct descendant of Louis Riel.
The Sudsy Elephant is more than a business; it's a heartfelt tribute to my late mother, Susan Smith (nee Riel). Inspired by her love for elephants and the serenity she found in bath times, even during her illness, our brand emerged. Susan's passing during the challenges of COVID sparked the idea to create something enduring in her name.
